Zubeida Alawi

Bio:​

Zubeida Alawi, a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Advertisement and a Master's in Business Innovation. She is recognized for her expertise in global strategic communication and business innovation, underscored by her commitment to Design Thinking. This methodology not only shapes her approach to ethnographic research but also guides her in solving complex industry problems and facilitating international business processes between governments, Ministries, corporations, and startups.
 
As the Managing Director of AG Studios, Zubeida brings to the table over nine years of experience in managing a diverse range of projects across B2B, B2C, and NGO sectors. Her clientele includes research inventors, entrepreneurs, and investors, guiding them through transformative business strategies and assisting in developing frameworks for brand identity, market penetration, and scalable commercialization. AG Studio approach to each project is marked by a focus on customized strategic frameworks, building on success metrics and performance indicators, which highlights a deep understanding of user expertise and public relations dynamics.
 
Prior to her current role, Zubeida worked as an Arabic language and culture subject matter expert, where her skills were pivotal in driving strategic communication efforts in the MENA region and in post-conflict zones. As an Arabic American with a unique intercultural perspective being a global citizen active-player who applies an inclusive, human-centered approach to every challenge. This perspective is fundamental in her approach to innovation, where she skillfully blends her background in visual communication with her keen understanding of user experience and local cultural nuances. 
 
A testament to her innovative spirit and foresight in technology is her role as a co-founder and inventor, recognized with a WIPO patent for a workplace distributed ledger technology solution. She has facilitated the development and acquisition of a MedTech SaaS, demonstrating her ability to understand and shape the evolving technological landscape. Currently, at AG Studio, Zubeida leads projects across various sectors, including Renewable Energy, artificial intelligence in human-computer interaction SaaS, NSF SBIR, and the wellness/longevity industries, continually pushing boundaries to remain at the forefront of innovation.
